Al Poliarco, LMT

Certified Deepfeet Instructor

Madison, Wisconsin

  • Becoming a Certified Deepfeet Bar Therapist has truly transformed my career into a passionate journey. After 15 years in social work, I sought a new path and found it in massage school in 2015. Receiving my license in 2016 was just the beginning. Eager to carve my niche, I enrolled in an Ashiatsu Deepfeet Bar Therapy Training and it became my calling.

Ashiatsu stands out for its uniqueness and allows me to work comfortably. I can seamlessly integrate it with other techniques. True freedom lies in loving what you do, and when I’m on the massage table, I am in my element.

As the first practitioner of Ashiatsu Deepfeet Bar Therapy in Madison, my freelance practice, Barefoot Hands Bodywork, has grown through positive client feedback and inquiries from fellow therapists eager to enhance their careers. I’m driven to share my passion for Ashiatsu through education and mentorship.

My clients appreciate my caring nature, sense of humor, and ability to create a nurturing healing experience. I look forward to welcoming you into this supportive environment and training you in the deepest most luxurious massage on the earth!

  • Al Poliarco is a gifted DeepFeet Ashiatsu Instructor! I am an older therapist who came into Massage at age 50, looking for a way to extend my career. After taking Al’s Barefoot Basic Ashi course in Madison, WI, I transitioned my entire practice to utilizing this therapeutic, deep-tissue gravity bodywork! Al is a Master at his craft!

  • I wholeheartedly recommend this class! Al is an EXCEPTIONAL teacher, and these sessions have truly transformed my practice. I have taken Ashi Thai and Ashi Sutra, and both courses have blew my mind! So many cool techniques that I can apply to my current ashiatsu offerings. Al’s enthusiasm for teaching shines through in every class he teaches. I highly recommend taking any class with Al!

  • I have attended nearly every DeepFeet class with Al. His training location in Madison is beautiful, and he creates a welcoming atmosphere. Al made me feel comfortable while learning this new and challenging technique. During DF1, he was very encouraging and ensured that we all left the class feeling confident enough to practice at home. Ashiatsu has transformed my career, I HIGHLY recommend this course.

  • I found Ashiatsu because I was looking for a way to keep my body healthy, while going deeper with my clients. I took Al's Ashiatsu Level 1 course and I received these skills and much more. Al's experience, dedication to his craft, creativity, and natural teaching skills left me with the basic steps that he wove into a graceful dance that my clients love. I highly recommend Al and this course.
