DeepFeet 2 Virtual
2 Weeks, 12 Credits Tuition: 399 Deposit: 150 Pre-Req: Certification DeepFeet 1 Weekly Zoom Calls: Tuesdays at 10 am
The DeepFeet 2 Advanced course is designed for graduates of the DeepFeet 1 Basics course who have gained some clinical experience and are ready to expand their barefoot massage techniques. To participate in this course, students should have adequate upper arm and core strength and good balance and coordination to effectively deliver comfortable two-footed strokes to their clients.
This course will also cover transitional and modification strokes, which allow ashiatsu therapists to apply these techniques to a wide range of clientele. The theory and lectures will focus on specific back conditions, helping students learn how to identify and qualify clients for this treatment.
Each week, you’ll participate in peer feedback and a one-hour Zoom class for live instruction. Setting aside 5-7 hours per week for coursework and practice is recommended. The course concludes with a one-hour private practical exam. Upon completion, you will have mastered advanced strokes that utilize both feet simultaneously. These two-footed techniques are especially beneficial for healthy, athletic clients who often require more pressure than what one-footed strokes can provide.
